By the mere recital of this MahaMantra consisting of these sixteen holy Names of Sree Bhagavan, man gets relieved from all the evils of Kali Yuga and you cannot find any other way to get rid of the miseries of KaliYuga even if you search all the four Vedas', said Lord Brahma to sage Narada at the end of Dwapara Yuga,according to Kalisantharana Upanisad.

"ഹരേ രാമ ഹരേ രാമ രാമ രാമ ഹരേ ഹരേ ഹരേ കൃഷ്ണ ഹരേ കൃഷ്ണ കൃഷ്ണ കൃഷ്ണ ഹരേ ഹരേ" ഭഗവാന്‍റെ ഈ ൧൬ തിരുനാമങ്ങള്‍ അടങ്ങുന്ന മഹാമന്ത്രം ജപിക്കുന്നതുമൂലം മനുഷ്യന്‍ കലിയുടെ എല്ലാ ദോഷങ്ങളില്‍നിന്നും മുക്തരായി ഭവിക്കുന്നു എന്നും ഇതല്ലാതെ കലി ദോഷങ്ങളെ ഇല്ലാതാക്കാന്‍ മറ്റൊരു മാര്‍ഗവും നാല് വേദങ്ങളും പരിശോധിച്ചാലും കണ്ടുകിട്ടുകയില്ലെന്നും ബ്രഹ്മാവ്‌ ശ്രീനാരദ മഹര്‍ഷിക്ക് ദ്വാപരയുഗാന്ത്യത്തില്‍ ഉപദേശിച്ചതായി കലിസന്തരണ ഉപനിഷത്ത്‌ പറയുന്നു.

Then Sage Narada asked Lord Brahma :- 'Lord, what are the rules to be observed for reciting this MahaMantra.' In reply Lord Brahma said:- 'There are no special rules for chanting this Mantra; it can be chanted by any one,at any time, without regard to purity or impurity,anywhere and everywhere .By the mere chanting of this MahaMantra man gets cleansed of all his sins and both his body and mind gets purified.'

അപ്പോള്‍ ശ്രീനാരദ മഹര്‍ഷി , ഈ മഹാ മന്ത്രം ജപിക്കുവാനുള്ള നിയമങ്ങള്‍ എന്തെല്ലാം എന്ന് ബ്രഹ്മാവിനോട് ചോദിച്ചു. അതിന് മറുപടിയായി ഈ മഹാ മന്ത്രം ജപിക്കുവാന്‍ പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് യാതൊരു നിയമങ്ങളും ഇല്ല എന്നും, ശുദ്ധിയും അശുദ്ധിയും ഒന്നും നോക്കാതെ ആര്‍ക്കും , എവിടെയും , എപ്പോഴും ഇത് ജപിക്കാംഎന്നും , ഈ മഹാ മന്ത്രം ജപിക്കുന്നത്‌ കൊണ്ടു തന്നെ മനുഷ്യന്റെ എല്ലാ പാപങ്ങളും നീങ്ങി മനസ്സും ശരീരവും ശുദ്ധമാകും എന്നും ബ്രഹ്മദേവന്‍ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

So, let us also chant this MahaMantra at all times in order to be free from the evil effects of Kali Yuga.All Sasthras proclaim that God-realisation which was attained by meditation in Krtha Yuga, by Yagnas in ThrethaYuga, and by poojas in Dwapara Yuga can be attained by the the recital of the Lord's Divine Names alone in ali Yuga.

അതിനാല്‍ എല്ലാ കലി ദോഷങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നും മുക്തരാകുവാന്‍ ഈ മഹാ മന്ത്രത്തെ നിരന്തരം ജപിക്കുക.ധ്യാനം കൊണ്ടു കൃത യുഗത്തിലും ,യജനം കൊണ്ടു ത്രേതായുഗത്തിലും ,പൂജനം കൊണ്ടു ദ്വാപരയുഗത്തിലും സാധിച്ചിരുന്ന ഈശ്വര പ്രാപ്തി കലി യുഗത്തില്‍ ഭഗവന്‍നാമ കീര്‍ത്തനം ഒന്നു കൊണ്ടു മാത്രം സാധിക്കാം എന്ന് സര്‍വ ശാസ്ത്രങ്ങളും നിസ്സംശയം ഉദ്ഘോഷിക്കുന്നു.

May the Blessings of the Lord be showered on everyone, to become free from all sins and reach the the ultimate abodeof the Lord , through the recital of Bhagavan's Divine Names.

നാമകീര്‍ത്തനം കൊണ്ടു പാപ മോചിതരായി ഭഗവത് പ്രാപ്തി നേടുവാന്‍ എല്ലാവരെയും ഭഗവാന്‍ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കട്ടെ.

സദ്ഗുരു ശ്രീമദ് അഭേദാനന്ദ സ്വാമി തിരുവടികള്‍ ൧൯൫൫ ഫെബ്രുവരി ൨൪ന് തിരുവനന്തപുരം കോട്ടക്കകത്ത് അഭേദാശ്രമത്തില്‍ ഭദ്ര ദീപം കൊളുത്തി അഖണ്ഡ മഹാമന്ത്ര ജപം ആരംഭിച്ചു. അന്നു മുതല്‍ ഈ ആശ്രമത്തില്‍ മഹാമന്ത്ര ജപം രാപകല്‍ ഭേദമില്ലാതെ ഇരുപത്തിനാല് മണിക്കൂറും നടന്നു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. അതിനാല്‍ ഈ ആശ്രമത്തിനു മഹാ മന്ത്രാലയം എന്ന പേരുണ്ടായി.
